H.B.
656 & H.B. 1187 are companion statutes passed by the 2001 and
2000 Georgia General Assemblies, respectively.
In tandem, they carve a framework for education restructuring
for Georgia schools and school systems. This publication
provides both laws in their entirety, and more than 260
footnotes provide references to rules, websites, and other
information which Georgia administrators need to effectively
implement the legislation.
Additionally, highlights of the Acts, selected timelines, and
analyses of the laws are included.
Also, provided are a sample school allotment sheet with an
explanation of each row and column and an expenditure controls
chart and position tests chart
