The IMPROVED STUDENT LEARNING ENVIRONMENT & DISCIPLINE ACT HANDBOOK
is a notebook designed as a legal reference for Georgia
administrators as they implement the mandates of H.B. 605. The
contents are arranged in an easy-to-use format for quick,
comprehensive reference. Additionally, this notebook includes
information to assist administrators in the practical application of
legal requirements. The Code sections included in H.B. 605 are
provided in this handbook, as are other pertinent sections of the
law. An outline, COMPLYING WITH H.B. 605 - THINGS WHICH MUST BE
DONE, and checklist, CHECKLIST FOR IMPLEMENTING H.B. 605, are provided
to assist administrators in making decisions regarding policies and
procedures for the implementation of all the mandates of H.B.
